1. Data We Collect
- Username and phone number (for WhatsApp login)
- Email address (if used)
- Snap content, photos, videos, battles
- Camera and gallery access
- Health and Fitness Data (Arena Track feature): Heart rate, workout sessions, steps, distance, active energy burned, and exercise metrics from Apple Health (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android)
- Location data (foreground and background for workout tracking)
- Motion and sensor data (accelerometer, gyroscope for activity detection)
- Bluetooth connectivity data (heart rate monitors, smartwatches)
- Transaction/top-up data (via Google Play)
2. Purposes of Data Usage
- User verification and login
- Displaying Snap and community content
- Providing features such as voting, battles, rewards
- Improving our services and security
3. Storage & Security
All data is securely stored via Firebase and cloud systems. We use authentication and encryption to protect your data.
4. Third Parties
We do not sell your data. Some technical data is shared with service providers such as Firebase, ZEGOCLOUD, and streaming providers for technical functionality purposes.
5. User Rights
You can contact us to access, revise, or delete your personal data by emailing support@arenago.id.
6. Children
This application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Policy Changes
This policy may change and updates will be announced through the app and this page if there are any changes.
8. Health and Fitness Data (Arena Track Feature)
ArenaGo's Arena Track feature integrates with Apple Health (iOS) and Google Health Connect (Android) to provide comprehensive fitness tracking and workout analytics.
8.1 Health Data We Access
- Heart Rate Data: Used for real-time workout monitoring, training zone optimization, and personalized fitness insights.
- Workout Sessions: Read to provide comprehensive fitness analytics, progress tracking, and performance trends.
- Steps: Collected for daily activity tracking and fitness goal monitoring.
- Distance (Walking/Running): Used for accurate workout route tracking and distance calculation.
- Active Energy Burned: Tracked for calories calculation and workout intensity analysis.
8.2 Health Data We Store
- Workout Sessions: Saved to Apple Health/Google Health Connect to maintain your complete fitness history.
- Exercise Metrics: Distance, duration, calories, heart rate zones, and activity-specific data.
- Important: Health data remains in the Apple Health/Google Health Connect ecosystem. We do not store your health data on our external servers.
8.3 How We Use Health Data
- Real-time heart rate monitoring during workouts to ensure you stay in optimal training zones
- Personalized training insights and progress tracking based on your fitness patterns
- Compatibility with other health and fitness applications through Apple Health/Google Health Connect
- Comprehensive workout analytics including pace, speed, calories, and performance trends
- Automatic workout detection and activity recognition
8.4 Your Control Over Health Data
- All health data access requires your explicit permission through iOS/Android system prompts
- You can revoke health data access anytime:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → ArenaGo
- Android: Settings → Apps → Health Connect → App permissions → ArenaGo
- Health data is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent
- You can export or delete all health data through Apple Health or Google Health Connect app
9. Location Data
9.1 Foreground Location (When App is Open)
- Used for workout route tracking and accurate distance measurement
- GPS positioning for real-time pace and speed calculations
- Location-based features like nearby venue discovery and court booking
- Displaying your workout route on map
9.2 Background Location (When App is Minimized)
- Enables continuous workout tracking when app is in background
- Essential for uninterrupted distance and route recording during outdoor exercise
- Automatic pause/resume detection based on movement
- Battery-optimized tracking algorithms to minimize power consumption
- You can disable background location in app settings if you prefer to keep the app open during workouts
9.3 Location Data Storage & Security
- Workout routes stored locally on your device and in Apple Health/Google Health Connect (if configured)
- Location data encrypted in transit and at rest
- No location data shared with third parties without your explicit consent
- You can delete location data anytime through workout history in the app
10. Bluetooth & Sensor Data
10.1 Bluetooth Connectivity
- Heart Rate Monitors: Connect to compatible chest straps and armband monitors
- Fitness Trackers: Sync with Apple Watch and compatible smartwatches
- Cycling Computers: Connect to bike sensors for cadence and power data
- Real-time data synchronization for enhanced workout accuracy
10.2 Motion and Fitness Sensors
- Accelerometer & Gyroscope: Step counting and activity type detection
- Movement Patterns: Used for workout optimization and automatic tracking
- Activity Recognition: Automatically detect running, cycling, walking, and other activities
- Sensor data collected only during active workout sessions
- Used to enhance GPS-based tracking accuracy
11. Data Retention & Deletion
- Health Data: Retained in Apple Health/Google Health Connect under your control. You can delete health data anytime through the Apple Health or Google Health Connect app.
- Workout History: Stored locally and in Firebase. You can delete individual workouts or all workout data through the app.
- Location Data: Retention period configurable in app settings. Default: kept indefinitely unless you delete it.
- Account Deletion: When you delete your account, all associated workout data and settings are permanently removed within 7 working days.
- No External Health Servers: We do not store your health data (heart rate, steps, etc.) on our external servers—it remains in the secure Apple Health/Google Health Connect ecosystem.
12. Children's Privacy
- ArenaGo is suitable for users aged 13 and above (follows COPPA guidelines)
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13
- If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately
- Parental controls available through iOS Screen Time and Android Digital Wellbeing
13. Third-Party Data Sharing
- Health Data: Never shared with third parties. It remains exclusively in the Apple Health/Google Health Connect ecosystem.
- Workout Data: Shared only when you explicitly choose to share (e.g., social sharing, exporting workouts)
- Technical Data: Some technical data shared with Firebase, ZEGOCLOUD, and streaming providers for functionality purposes only
- Analytics: Anonymous usage data may be collected for app improvement (no personal health data included)
- You can opt out of all data sharing features in app settings
14. How to Delete Your ArenaGo Account
You can delete your account and all your personal data directly from the ArenaGo app by following these steps:
- Open the ArenaGo app and log in to your account.
- Go to Profile and select Settings.
- Select the Privacy & Content menu.
- Press the Delete my account button and confirm the deletion.
After confirmation, all your account data will be permanently deleted from the ArenaGo server within a maximum of 7 working days. For further questions, contact support@arenago.id.
